- Earth Sciences and Resources Institute - Created in 1973 to conduct applied research in environmental and petroleum geology, ESRI–USC is an extramurally funded research institute operating within the University of South Carolina
- Geologic Hazards - Provided by the USGS, the research results of investigations of earthquake, geomagentic, and land-slide hazards are presented
- National Geologic Map Database - Information about maps and related data for geology, hazards, earth resources, geophysics, geochemistry, geochronology, paleontology, and marine geology
- Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) Database (Janus Web Database) - This database contains over 450 tables of the ODP's marine geoscience data collected onboard the drillship JOIDES Resolution, includes paleontological, lithostratigraphic, chemical, physical, sedimentological, and geophysical data for ocean sediments and hard rocks
- Quakeline Database - A bibliographic database produced by the MCEER Information Service which covers earthquakes, earthquake engineering, natural hazard mitigation, and related topics
- Science Research Connection - The DOE Information Bridge (IB) and the DOE Energy Citations Database (ECD) have been replaced by the Science Research Connection (SRC), which contains the content of both. Users of the DOE IB will need to register in order to have access comparable to that of the DOE IB. Provides acces to searchable and downloadable bibliographic records of worldwide energy research and full text of DOE sponsored or acquired scientific and technical information from 1995 forward
